Parents! 

Each Wednesday evening from 6:00-8:30 p.m. $50.00 per class OR 165.00 for four (pre-paid) classes!!!

Class Instructor: Morning Star midwives and other community childbirth educators

These classes are designed for first-time parents as well as parents who have previously given birth. It is available to all expectant mothers and their support person, regardless of where she is receiving care. The rotating selection of classes are taught by Morning Star's staff midwives and/or community childbirth educators, and they cover a combination of methods. These are in-depth, informative classes that explore the physiologic, emotional and spiritual aspects of birth, breast feeding and early parenting. The classes are designed to educate you and your support person about all aspects of pregnancy, labor, delivery and the immediate postpartum period. Focus is on learning about the process, thereby reducing fear and in turn reducing the risk of unnecessary interventions and complications.

The cost is $50.00 for each class, or a discounted rate of $165.00 for four pre-paid classes. Registration is required. Class size is limited to five couples per series. Call the St. Louis Park Birth Center at 612-922-4784 to register.
